• Andrew Epstein was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska.

  • He attended college at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee, graduating in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theater.

  • Following graduation from college, Andrew was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He served four years as an Artillery Officer at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, and two years in Recruiting in Louisville, Kentucky, leaving the service in 2001 at the rank of Captain.

  • Andrew enrolled in law school at the University of Louisville, Brandeis School of Law in 2001 on a Dean's Scholarship. He graduated in 2004, having served as the Articles Editor of the Brandeis Law Journal, and having authored a published law review article in the area of family law.

  • Following graduation from law school, Andrew moved to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he worked for an insurance defense law firm and for the Clark County District Attorney's Office.

  • Andrew returned to the Louisville area in the spring of 2005 to take a position with the Jefferson County Commonwealth Attorney's Office. During his tenure as an Assistant Commonwealth's Attorney, Andrew prosecuted hundreds of felony cases, and conducted numerous jury trials for such crimes as murder, child sex abuse, prostitution, burglary, check forgery, credit card fraud, manufacturing methamphetamine, drug trafficking, and drug possession.

  • Andrew opened his private law practice in Louisville, Kentucky in 2007. He is licensed to practice law in Kentucky, Nevada, and Nebraska.
